Career
He has worked as a data specialist in the San Francisco Bay Area. From December 2011 to August 2013, he was a data architect in Cisco Networking Academy. Thereafter, he worked in Franklin Templeton Investments and SunPower Corporations. Recently, he had been working as an ETL Architect & Manager in Social Interest Solutions since 2015.
Controversy
Hangud is convicted of murdering four people. On Monday, October 14, 2019, he showed up at the Placer county Police Station in Mount Shasta, which is 212 miles north of his hometown, Roseville. He turned himself over to the police and said he killed four people; one body was in his vehicle and three others were at his apartment in Roseville. Mt. Shasta Police Department uploaded a post on Facebook, which says-
Roseville Police Capt. Josh Simon said, “Hangud is facing four murder charges. He is in custody in Placer County. Officers found the bodies of an adult and two juveniles on Monday at Hangud’s Roseville apartment after Mount Shasta police told them of Hangud’s statement.”
It hasn’t been confirmed whether all four victims are his family members or his distant relatives. However, sources say that all four victims are his family members. One victim who was found in Hangud’s vehicle was confirmed to be of East Indian descent. Tax records show that Hangud faces an IRS tax lien of $178,00.
