Samantha Win is a Canadian actress and martial artist. She is famous for her performance in the Canadian TV series Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) and American films Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) and Army of the Dead (2021).
When she was four years old, she began training in jiu-jitsu as her mother was a black belt in jiu-jitsu. When she turned twelve, she began learning wushu and trained under her coach Alan Tang. Talking about her coach in an interview, she said,
My Wushu coach Alan Tang is just one of the best people in the world. Huge heart and so much to give… he’s my role model.”
She was an alumna of Sunny Tang Martial Arts Center in Toronto. She studied at Richmond Hill High School, Canada. In her teens, she trained in acting at the Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television. When she moved to Los Angeles, she trained in acting with some of the great acting teachers.

As of 2021, she is in a relationship with the American actor Shahaub Roudbari.
At the age of twelve, she started her career as a model for various children print advertisements for Sears Company.
She also appeared in several Toy commercials. In 2004, she appeared in the TV commercial for KIDZ BOP, a musical group.
She was a member of the performance team named Team Ryouko Martial Arts in Newmarket as a teen. From 2005 to 2008, she was a part of the National Wushu Team of Canada. In 2007, she competed at the World Wushu Championships in Beijing and won a bronze medal in Nangun. She participated in the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament during the 2008 Summer Olympics.

She made her television debut as a stuntwoman with the Canadian series ‘Aaron Stone’ (2009). She made her debut as a stuntwoman in a film with the US-UK-Canadian-Japanese co-production ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.’ In 2011, she was the stunt double for American actress Daniella Monet in the American TV series Supah Ninjas (2011). Later, she was stunt-double for American actresses in many American TV series like for Carly Chaikin in Suburgatory (2013), Skyler Samuels in Bloodline (2013), and Ming Na Wen in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-15). She was also a stunt double for many actresses in American films- Jena Malone (American) in Sucker Punch (2011), Kristen Stewart (American) in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012), Antje Traue (German) in Man of Steel (2013), and Eva Green (French) in 300: Rise of an Empire (2014).

In 2011, Samantha made her acting debut with the Canadian television series ‘Mortal Kombat: Legacy’ as ‘Kitana.’ She worked in the series till 2015.
In 2013, she made her film debut with the American-British film ‘Man of Steel’ in which she played ‘Car-vex.’
In 2015, she made her American TV series debut with ‘Agent X’ in which she played the role ‘Juju.’
She then acted in the American TV series Seven Bucks Digital Studios (2017), Lethal Weapon (2019), and Arrow (2019). She is known for her supporting roles in the American-British films Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League (2017), and Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021). In Los Angeles, she joined LA Theater, making her stage debut as ‘Catherine’ in Arthur Miller’s ‘A View from the Bridge’ (2018) at Thursday Night Theater Company.
In 2021, she played the main role of ‘Chambers’ in the American film ‘Army of the Dead.’
Apart from feature films, she appeared in many short American films like Jia (2015), Snow Steam Iron (2017), Silent Night (2020), Disobedience (2020), Committed (2020), Circle of Stone (2020), and Unwelcome (2021).
She made her debut as a producer with the American short film ‘Silent Night’ in 2020.
She then produced the American short films Disobedience (2020), Committed (2020), and Unwelcome (2021). She made her debut as a screenwriter with the short film ‘Committed’ in 2020.
She was also the assistant editor and screenwriter for the American short film Unwelcome (2021).
