Samantha Win is a Canadian actress and martial artist. She is famous for her performance in the Canadian TV series Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) and American films Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) and Army of the Dead (2021).

When she was four years old, she began training in jiu-jitsu as her mother was a black belt in jiu-jitsu. When she turned twelve, she began learning wushu and trained under her coach Alan Tang. Talking about her coach in an interview, she said,
My Wushu coach Alan Tang is just one of the best people in the world. Huge heart and so much to give… he’s my role model.”
She was an alumna of Sunny Tang Martial Arts Center in Toronto. She studied at Richmond Hill High School, Canada. In her teens, she trained in acting at the Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television. At the age of twelve, she started her career as a model for various children print advertisements for Sears Company.
She also appeared in several Toy commercials. In 2004, she appeared in the TV commercial for KIDZ BOP, a musical group.
Martial Arts
She was a member of the performance team named Team Ryouko Martial Arts in Newmarket as a teen. From 2005 to 2008, she was a part of the National Wushu Team of Canada. In 2007, she competed at the World Wushu Championships in Beijing and won a bronze medal in Nangun. She participated in the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament during the 2008 Summer Olympics.
