She was most admired for her shooting ability – she has an admiration for three-point sharpshooters – but she is also known as a grumbler, as evidenced by her competitors who gave her a nickname, “Nellie Oleson”.

In her first year, she systematized and hosted the Euro show and Le Grand Stade with Darren Tulett, and then with Marie Portolano in her second year.
In 2013, NBA Extra, a daily news program dealing with the NBA, was assigned to Patrux. In addition to basketball, there are various types of sports that the presenter covers on the air, such as handball with, among others, the world championships, European championships, NHL and LFH trophy presentations, and swimming.
In 2019, Mary Patrux was approached by the sports department of France Télévisions with the aim of replacing Flore Maréchal in order to present Tout le sport, co-host Stade, and become an event commentator, but the transfer did not go through. Thus she remained on BeIn Sports, hosting NBA Extra and major events. She was also designated as an ambassador for Parions the same year.
