- Lori is a Jew but she raised her children as Jehovah’s Witnesses, a millenarian restorationist Christian denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity.
- After Lori and Terence separated in 2003, Terence tried many ways to woo her back. He bought a house two blocks from her house in Pennsylvania, he did grass-cutting, trash-disposing, and other odd jobs for her. After denying for a long time, Lori decided to get back to him, and in 2005, the couple remarried.
- Terence was arrested for domestic violence against Lori after he punched her twice on her face in 2001. Later, Terence pleaded guilty, and in an interview, Terence accepted that he hit Lori and said,
She was talking to me real strong, and I lost my mind and slapped her in front of the kids… Her lawyer said it was a closed fist, but even slapping her was wrong.”
Later, his second wife, Michelle Ghent, filed a lawsuit against him alleging Terence to be physically abusive towards her.
