Career
Yacoubi’s career debuted with a short film, Now… (1994). After a few years in 1998, he played a role in the TV Series Enguerrand le guerroyeur. His first proper film was Munich (2005.)
One of his most famous roles is that in A Prophet (2009) where he plays a role of an Arab incarnated in prison. He also co-directed Bon Anniversaire (2007) with Daniel Kupferstein. He wrote this film too. The short documentary was submitted in 2008 to the 18th Festival del Cinema Africano, d’Asia e America Latina, as an Italian film by an African, Asian, or Latin American filmmaker.
